The Jamboree-on-the-Internet, or JOTI, is an annual Scouting event in which Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Girl Guides all over the world make contact with each other using computers and the Internet. This event is a real Jamborees during which Scouting experiences are exchanged and ideas are shared.

Event goal:

“Bringing Scouts from all over the world together by means of electronic communication, creating awareness, understanding and friendship with people outside their normal living environment.

Stimulating interest in the technology used for the communication and developing the understanding and knowledge of these technologies”

The Jamboree is for members of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS)
